BNP backed candidate boycotted Patharghata UZP poll

Habibur Rahman,BNP backed, Faruk Hossain Mallik, Islami Andolon Bangladesh Backed, Imam Hossain Babul, AL-rebel chairman candidates and other vice-chairman candidates announced their decision of boycotting Patharghata UZP poll at Patharghata Press Club about 1:00 pm noon.

They demanding fresh election alleged that AL cadres occupying the vote centers continued rigging since starting of the voting and election and administrative officials playing biased role remained indifferent after repeated allegations.

However AL-backed candidate Rafikul Islam Ripon, denying any rigging claimed the election free and fair and said rival assuming their sure defeat left the field of election race.

Shakhawat Hossain, UNO and assistant returning officer Patharghata, denying allegations said four mobile teams under administrative magistrates moving in the area and voting going on peacefully and none officially filed any allegation before him.
