Participants of a human chain and rally in Barisal on Tuesday demanded justice, transparencies and accountabilities in distribution and using climate change fund and focusing issues. Taxpayers called to ensure hassle-free service

The seven-day ‘ fifth income-tax fair-2014′ organized by National Board of Revenue (NBR) ended in Barisal divisional city on Monday night with collecting Tk.84.09 lakhs as taxes, about twenty percent more than the collection of Tk. 68.12 lakhs in the fair of 2013. The second day of two-day shutdown called by the Jamaat e Islami Bangladesh demanding release and protesting Supreme Court verdict of war criminal Delwar Hossain Sayedee observing loosely and peacefully in Barisal on Sunday. Tk.26.52 lakhs collected as taxes in first days of the fair

The seven-day ‘ fifth income-tax fair-2014′ organized by National Board of Revenue (NBR) going on full swing in Barisal divisional city. The fair started at Barisal Ashiwini Kumar Hall premises on September 16 , will continue till September 22. In the first four-day of the seven-day fair 1, 257 people submitted their income-tax return and paid Tk. 26,52,605 taxes through e-payment, said Proshanta Kumar Roy, commissioner of taxes, Barisal regional tax office. The regional commissioner of taxes further said a total 2, 396 were received tax service from the fair in last four days. Of them 138 were received new ETIN from here till filing...
